Lovely location. Interesting history. Added bonus of a gin distillery on site.

Location, cooked breakfast, friendly staff
Lots of little things that added together were disappointing, but each on their own not a big issue. Mould running down the walls in the bathroom, duvet was 2 smaller duvets zipped together which didn’t fill the cover, bed sheet didn’t cover the mattress, no fire escape plan in the room (legal requirement), no hypoallergenic pillows available even though a card in the room said they were in the wardrobe but weren’t, room was set up for 1 guest despite booked for two, cooked breakfast over cooked, poached eggs cooked in vinegar, tired looking and uninviting corridors, smart tv not connected to internet…….
