The hotel is beautiful and perfectly located. It's a lovely place to stay and I will be back.
Lower Ground Room 5, although it had a bath (which I really wanted), the noise of staff going in and out of that store room with cluttering glasses, or starting and ending shifts with jovial hellos and goodbyes was so disruptive to my sleep.

Gorgeous hotel and lovely bar
Uncomfortable bed, small room, parking extortionate and it would have been nice for that to be something that was made more transparent at the time of booking as it was a very unpleasant surprise to learn 2 days before arrival that we needed to find another £100 for parking. I’m sure I’m not the only one shocked at the price!

Location, excellent friendly staff, impressive building
Only thing was the bed was hard so woke up with back ache

The building and communal areas were very well presented. The foyer, seating areas and bar were very attractive. The hotel was perfectly situated for us.
Our room was drab and need of redecoration. The arm chair was badly stained, the table was water damaged. The room did not include charging ports for IT equipment which surprised me. The fridge and drinks area were badly designed, the fridge door could not be opened whilst the tea and coffee shelf was extended. The fridge door was difficult to open due to it’s placement within a tight timber casing. Some staff were sullen. The layout of the hotel was confusing.

"Amazing staff who could not do enough for you...I'm a wheelchair user and hotels can be a challenge, I was made to feel like a VIP instead of an inconvenience.... highly recommend"
