Beautifully decorated, stylish interior with plenty of character.
Excellent location in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood, despite being very central in London.
Genuinely friendly, welcoming, and helpful staff.
The single room was rather small considering the price.
During the night, a panel from the air conditioning unit, apparently held in place with tape, fell off, causing a considerable amount of water to leak out. I had to contain it with a towel myself. The following day's repair appeared to be simply taping the panel back in place.
Very loud plumbing and drainage noises from other rooms, clearly audible through the shower and sink drains.
Breakfast service was somewhat disorganised. My tea never arrived despite requesting it twice, and my table was cleared while I was still at the buffet. However, the staff were friendly and apologetic, and I got the impression that some team members might still be learning their roles.
