The hotel has a great location just around the corner from the picturesque Charlotte Street, full of cool restaurants, pubs and bars, close to Oxford Street and Soho too, but without the nightlife buzz of those under your windows. Our Signature room was exceptionally clean; in fact, it looked and felt new, including the bathroom. A very cosy, functional room. Two windows showed nice views. The reception staff were polite and friendly.
There was construction work at the hotel, and the building was covered by scaffolding. We had no idea about this fact before our arrival. There is currently in functional toilet at the reception, lobby area. The staff has to accompagnie you to one of their room upstairs, when they have time. Otherwise you suffer there. It felt weird but let's hope it is really a temporary problem due to renovations.

- It's in a great location. It's very central, but also in a small alley, so there's not much street noise.
- The staff at the bar/cafeteria is good.
- The Spanish man at the front desk was nice.
- Beds are comfortable.
- Complimentary water, coffee, and tea in the room. Kettle available.
- Free luggage storage for the day.
- 24/7 front desk.
- The hotel is under renovation, resulting in noise throughout the day. There was no prior warning about this.
- The noise insulation is poor, especially considering it is an old hotel. We were woken up by children screaming in the hallways in the morning.
- The Wi-Fi doesn't work well. It is not recommended for people who need WiFi during their trip. The staff provided us with a Wi-Fi repeater, but it didn't work properly either.
- There is only one elevator, and it is extremely slow and old.
- The toilet doesn't flush properly, and the shower pressure is very poor.
- Breakfast consists of two types of pastries, bread, jam, butter, yogurt, coffee or tea, and juice. There are no vegan or lactose-free options.
- Requests to the front desk may be slow sometimes.
- I recommend sending messages and emails to confirm that your requests are received to avoid any delays upon arrival.
- It's extremely expensive for what it is.
