We loved it. The hotel is in a great location and there’s a bus stop just outside. The staff were welcoming, helpful and professional. There was a bar/cafe that was open every time we wanted to use it.
We stayed in the Cosy rooms, which were bigger than expected, and had everything we needed.

The air conditioning worked very well, as did the shower.
There was no shelf space to store clothes. I had to live out of my suitcases. There was no frigibar to keep my water chilled. When I asked to reserve a taxi on Friday afternoon to take me to a function that evening I was told that this was unnecessary as reception would call a taxi in just two minutes. When I asked them to call me a taxi that evening I was then informed that no taxi was available and that it would be half an hour before one arrived. I tried to hail one on the street but without success. Eventually I had to take the tube while dressed for dinner in the sweltering heat. I would be obliged if you could advise your staff to inform guests that they should book a taxi well in advance if they needed to get to their destination in good time.
