Have stayed on multiple occasions, you can’t beat location, walking distance to Kings Cross, central to buses and trains and central enough to explore all areas of London. Rooms are lovely, clean snd well equipped but may require a climb upstairs given location in terraces.
Be mindful that you are likely to have to climb stairs depending on room and level which you book. I did stay in ground floor lovely room for second part of trip which i can highly recommend.

The hotel is comprises a set of elegant large townhouses in a quiet square with a park in the centre. The rooms are spacious, airy, light and well-proportioned. Very comfortable. As one is entering a townhouse by its front door, one is free from other people and the bustle and clamour that characterise large hotels. One to remember.

Welcoming and helpful staff, the room was clean and very comfortable in a lovely old building. Breakfast at the Great Hall of the College was really special.
Can’t think of anything, would happily stay again.

The staff was good, location was also nice
The room on the basement floor looked nothing like images advertised on Booking. Images looked stylish and nice, and my room looked pretty poor. No AC in the room.
