Amazing friendly, professional staff, who catered to your every need, and made you feel like nothing was a bother for them. Breakfast choices and quality of food first class, we also had room service food and drinks delivered, efficient and fast service.
The history of the house is fascinating and the rooms are beautifully furnished and tasteful. We were very fortunate to be upgraded to a suite which made out stay even more perfect than we could have imagined.
A little background music could improve the breakfast experience in terms of ambience

A beautiful building exquisitely decorated. The breakfasts were outstanding. Use of the spa facilities the icing on the cake.

A true escape into past gentility from the world's troubles where every guest is treated as a VIP in exceptional comfort and style.

Breakfast was okay apart from eggs not cooked properly. Poached eggs were hard. The silver teapot tea were is okay apart from they are old and not pouring properly.
There is a set menu for an evening meal which does not change having been there for three days. One would be totally bored with the choice of food at an expensive price. It meant we had to travel out of the hotel to have a change of menu.
