This is my first high-price ryoukan and the stay was exceptional. Staff is very kind and skilled. I can mark exceptional English skills -- I wasn't excepting it. The hotel is close to the Gora station but transfer feature is available. It was very convenient at rainy day. We hadn't catch up with welcome dish yet it is provided. The lunch was superior and I feel like half of the price for a night was the price of the dishes (totally worth it). I assume I never ate any meal tastier. Room is spacious, view is great. Wooden bathtub is using the water from the hot spring and fits well for two people . Hotel provide free yukatas for the stay. Bed was great. I really liked the stay and would recommend it for everyone considering it -- no doubts.
NB: Weak points are not really crucial, I want to note them only to adjust expectations of fellow visitors.
Onsen has two baths -- one inside and one open-air.
As usual, surrounding shops are closing early.
Breakfast was washyoku so it was a bit fat (eel in the morning is too much, personally)
