It was super relaxing and the view we had was amazing
It felt like it needed a bit of a refurb, lock of paint and sprucing up. For the money we paid we didn’t expect it to be worn and torn. Also the futon style beds weren’t the most comfortable. Be warned.

Cozy and extremely accommodating and hospitable.

We thoroughly enjoyed the room with its private onsen, the mountain views, and the sounds of the wind, the trees, and birds. The room is very spacious, and because it’s a corner unit, the views were exceptional—we really loved that. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious! It rained too.
It is a humid mountain area, so the room comes equipped with a dehumidifier.
Wifi not working very well. But Staff restarted router after we called.

The staff serving dinner and breakfast was nice - and ready to help with transfers and stuff. Other than that we consider our stay to have been a disappointment. The condition of the facilities is pretty much deteriorated with humidity all over and broken wood. The photos are really misleading in terms of what you’ll actually get - expect much worse.
During the kaiseki (which is not a traditional kaiseki) you have to pay for your own drinks (you take them from the mini bar).
