We had one host who looked after us during our stay - check in, meals, luggage forwarding services - who was very friendly and helpful. The room had great mountain views and we enjoyed the traditional rooms and meals. The private onsen in our room was a nice treat!

We loved the room and onsen. It exceeded our expectations, and we were extremely comfortable.
The meals were a little adventurous for our tastes, but it’s okay. The staff was so kind and generous.

On the positive side, the bed was very comfortable, and we really enjoyed the private bath with beautiful views of the mountains.
Honestly, I expected more from the property and from the ryokan experience overall. The bad weather didn’t help, but unfortunately, the room didn’t smell very pleasant due to a strong smell of humidity.
The staff were very kind and welcoming, although communication in English was quite difficult. I feel that better communication could have significantly improved the overall experience, particularly when it came to understanding the food and the ryokan experience itself.
