Location of the hotel was lovely on Loch Awe, secluded and around nature, easy enough to get to with a car. spacious surroundings. Loch shore a stones through from reception with available seating and secluded areas. Good parking at back of hotel.
Stewart was friendly and available throughout our nights stay. On reception and in the restaurant. Room was comfortable and warm, Bathroom was very well appointed with Scottish soap company condiments. Lounge area had games and a nice fire for added comfort. Had a lovely meal in the in restaurant, nice selection of whiskies.

Lovely location, with heaps of history and beautiful landscape. Dinner was very good - small menu but that did not detract from the experience.
Some of the tiles in the bathroom were cracked and raised and I ended up hurting my toe. Nothing serious but maybe the floor should be retiled or at least the broken and/or raised one’s replaced.

Lovely location. Quiet. Pretty views. Good dinner and breakfast The suite was nice. Spacious with comfy bed.
Few maintenance updates could be done Didn’t like the beer and didn’t like that we were charged even when we returned it and less that I had to pay 12.5% tip on two returned beers.

Location and the staff
The hotel was very dated and in need of decoration. It was evident this had started but there needs to be great deal more before paying guests are admitted
