So many things to love. Great location, spacious and comfortable room with all the amenities (big and cozy bed and the shower was exceptional with its rainfall showerhead and strong water pressure - little things matter!). The breakfast was very good.
But the main thing that mattered was the staff. I had some requests (travelling with a baby) that I didn't expect to be met from general experiences elsewhere. All met. The reception, restaurant and housekeeping staff were all genuinely lovely and wonderful. I know where I'll stay on my next visit to Edinburgh. Thank you.
I've stayed at Malmaisons elsewhere and I'm not the biggest fan of the general colour scheme and decor. I prefer the old school stylish look. But it didn't really bother me on this trip.

Registration was quick no easy
Menu wasn’t extensive but the food was nice
Nice shower
Free parking at the rear of the hotel
Nearby tram with 20 mins into EDI
The building was cold where our room was located
The only lift was cramped and painfully slow
The restaurant and bar lacked atmosphere

Good location
Malmaison are usually quite a reliable brand but this property was disappointing, for accommodation and staff. The room was tired, but the staff more so. I hope management can increase the number of staff.
