The property’s location is one of the best (if not the best) in town. Every staff member we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. The property also has a nice and cozy café/bar inside, which makes it convenient to grab a quick cup of coffee without having to go elsewhere before heading out to town. The train station is also literally across the street, which is also very convenient.
There is no working AC. While the city is known to get cold during the fall and winter, and not necessarily too hot to bear during the summer, it can get a bit suffocating inside without it.

The hotel is in the perfect location for the train station and Edinburgh itself. The room was a good size and we had a gorgeous view of Cockburn Street, which was an unexpected treat. The bar downstairs is spacious and well stocked.
The only thing that could be improved is the wall texture in the rooms, it would be lovely if it was smooth and more fitting with the modern rooms.

The location is fabulous - close to the rail station, buses, tram, Prince's Street and the Royal Mile. The hotel is lovely, updated and modern. The room was clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was also spotless and the shower had great water pressure. I appreciate that the room had a tea kettle, but it would have been nice to have a small fridge as well. The continental breakfast is plentiful with lots of variety - enough to get you started for the day. Will certainly stay here again when I visit Edinburgh.
The room was lovely, but it was next to stairs outside and was a bit noisy in the evenings with folks passing by.

Location to both the station and Edinburghs sights, decent choice of continental breakfast.
£666 for a two nights stay, extremely basic room apparently it’s for people with a dog as we did in this supposed dog friendly hotel. When we asked if we could upgrade, we were told no at they were fully booked, when I pointed out all levels of rooms were being offered on booking sites, we were told better rooms are not for people with a dog!! (Very dog friendly, not) the breakfast experience was a rugby scrum free for all event with low level tables and seats to squat at, not comfy and super impersonal.
