David greeted us and made us feel like we were at home. Saw him each day and he always asked how things were. In addition, the rest of the staff were very friendly as well. The location was perfect (5-minutes from the Royal Mile). The whole hotel was clean - kudos to the cleaning team! The breakfast was good and plentiful.
No electrical outlets in the bathroom. In fact, only 2 in the whole room, none even close to the bed, and the closest one for the coffee machine you literally had to put the machine on the floor. One-side of the bed had USB/C and nothing on the other side. Bed was small for two people and if 1 was large it is not comfortable.

Updated and clean
The location involved a hilly walk through some sort of sketchy area.

Location
It was too expensive. I splashed out as a treat for my family but apart from the excellent location it was at the end of the day just a hotel room. Have come to realise that treats like this are no longer affordable my family and I do regret my extravagance.
