The cleanliness of the hotel and rooms could not be faulted it was excellent and the staff were all very pleasant
There was confusion between information given by reception staff I was advised by one member that if I booked a breakfast the day before required it would be a reduced rate but when I tried to do this another member of reception staff said that it was not applicable unless taken up for entire stay and not individual days as wanted so didnt bother and went off site for breakfast. Maintenance of room equipment needs to be addressed as the fridge in room didnt work, extractor in bathroom constant and also toilet system ballcock not stopping system and was constantly trickling, spot lights beside beds didnt work. There was a coffee machine in the reception when asking if the coffee was complimentary was told that it is on arrival but no one offered us a coffee on arrival and never saw anyone else during stay with a coffee in reception

We've stayed here twice now. Good location, parking out front, nice easy walk (obviously flat!) into Amsterdam center. Staff friendly. Overall comfortable. I like the darker tones of the room decor. Breakfast is great. We will be back at this hotel next time, and there's always a next time with Amsterdam :)
Can't fault it.

Upmarket location close to Vondelpark
They require an extra fee of 7,50 EUR which according to staff is a service fee, not a city tax or alike . Guess they want to get the booking.com commission back this way . This is not okay . Rooms were ok but not worth the steep price . Value for money could be better .
