I got an upgrade to a suite and I loved the view from my room.
It was beautiful and stylish.
I had not stayed in this area before and I have to say that it was a lot closer to the Melbourne CBD then I thought it was. This was a great thing as I could either explore South Bank and go to the shows that I had booked or I could just walk across the bridge and be in the main part of Melbourne with all the arcades and laneways etc.
The Crown Complex is fantastic and it would be a great getaway for a weekend. I did not spend any time in the pool or spa as I was out all day being a tourist.
Room service was delicious and there are so many great restaurants in the complex as an alternative.
I had a brilliant views from the room I was staying in and that made me very glad that I got an upgrade.
I think they need to improve how they greet guests when they arrive. There seemed to be quite a lot of disorganization outside when I arrived and I was surprised that no one helped me with my bags.
