Delicious breakfasts and dinners, welcoming staff, beautiful remote location, historic building.

Last minute stay on my own, Arrived later than planned, after hotel had finished serving food. Was offered food by tow members of staff, one I met in car park, and when checking in. Much appreciated, but I had stopped earlier when realising I would be too late. Room was perfectly fine for me on my own, single bed, plenty of room, shower was good.
Nothing to note, the midgies did attack first thing in the morning when loading bike up for depart... :) Hotel can't do much about them! Some area's of the hotel looking slightly tired, but didn't effect my stay.

The location
Couldn’t get a warm shower and the lock on the door didn’t work. The beds weren’t very comfortable.
