Location
Reception area, bar, restaurant all very expressive
Stayed in this hotel 2023 and was really impressed, 2026 I can see there was a few maintenance issues in the room
Toilet roll holder hanging off the wall
Mirror in the bathroom on hinges needs tightening to stop the mirror from moving
Wallpaper in the bedroom was lifting in a few places
Bedside lamp needs some repair the cover is lifting from the shade

Easy to find, free parking. Well situated for access on the funicular to the high town.
Received a friendly welcome on arrival and shown to our studio, which was fitted out to a good standard. Breakfast was included with a good variety of hot and cold options.
We stayed in studio 1 which was lovely, but you could hear floor boards creaking every time the people in room above moved around.

Beautiful decor and furnishings.
Easy to park.
Ample facilities in the room - coffee, tea, and hot chocolate and biscuits.
Excellent breakfast.
Comfortable bed.
Worst shower I've ever had, no pressure at all. Original room had a bath but as the heating didn't work we were moved to a room that only had a small shower. The heating in this room didn't work either.
Restaurant is closed on Mondays (the night of our stay) as are many other venues in town.
