The breakfast was excellent, with a fantastic choice and something for everyone. There was a great selection of cereals, toast and spreads, fresh fruit and yogurts, along with plenty of continental options. For those wanting something hot, there was a full cooked breakfast with vegan choices too, and you could also order freshly prepared options such as poached eggs, eggs Benedict and porridge. There was a good selection of fruit juices, including orange and pineapple, as well as plenty of tea and coffee.
The breakfast area itself was lovely, with plenty of comfortable seating and a really pleasant, picturesque setting. It was a very nice environment to sit, relax and enjoy breakfast.
The only downside for us was the price of the breakfast. At £16.99 per person when added at check-in, we felt this was quite expensive, particularly as breakfast wasn’t included in the room rate and would have cost even more if we had decided to add it the following morning. Although the choice and quality were excellent, not everyone has a large appetite or eats enough to justify the full price. It would be nice if breakfast were included with certain room rates, offered at a reduced price for hotel guests, or if there were a cheaper, lighter breakfast option available for those with smaller appetites.

Everything
I paid by clearly but also had to pay on arrival. Still need a refund- this is poor communication from booking.com to the property

Everything! Clean and tidy, comfortable. The food was amazing, we enjoyed our evening meal in the restaurant and we had breakfast, where the choices were plentiful. We sat in the bar having a drink before our meal and it was very cosy and relaxing. The hotel is in an excellent location just a few minutes walk to the indoor shopping centre, which has everything you need. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, we will definitely stay there again 😊
The fact that due to having to go home we couldn't stay longer 😊

Location
Breakfast service was poor in that tables were slow to clear and we didn’t have a table for a while. The fruit was frozen. There was no decent TV channel in the room. The air con noise outside the room was loud. The water pressure in the shower was weak. We had a room for 3 but only 2 towels and cups etc.
