Staff, location, public areas were clean & well kept, food in the restaurant was good.
Room was cold, no individual room thermostat, room starting to look tired, not sure it was worth the extra?

Very comfortable room. Bed was great.
Only had one bath towel for 2 people. Would have loved the TV to have had app functionality.

Nice quiet room (eventually) I had asked for a room away from plant and machinery. Booking.com said that they had communicated this but the hotel was unaware. So I was moved to another room from one overlooking a bank of air conditioning units and extractors - they very thing I had asked to avoid.
I was moved to a room where the shower was not working properly. I asked for it to be fixed and this was registered but no one attempted to do it. I had to have a second day without a shower. That was unacceptable. The thermostat needed to be replaced becasue the knobs did not adjust the temperature. The water was just boiling hot however the knobs were turned. I was offered £70 in compensation which I accepted but I am not sure if it has been refunded as yet.
