The room was comfortable and the view over the golf course was beautiful. It’s a shame about the weather as there was access to the balcony, which would have been perfect on a sunny day. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious.
There was a wedding in the hotel when we arrived and we were worried that the noise may keep us awake but it finished around 11.30pm and as we weren’t directly above the function room it wasn’t too loud at all.
It would have been nice to have an on site restaurant as we had to go out into a storm to find some dinner. We ended up at the Royal Forester Inn, which we’d highly recommend.

Comfortable sleep, very clean, good breakfast. Good location

Nicely-appointed room, with a great view / balcony out over the golf course.
A little bit confusing as when we arrived there was no one at reception and it was unclear where to go to check-in. This was quickly resolved though.

Lovely setting
Terrible nights sleep. Thinnest walks. Could hear every word of the conversation of person in the next room. The fan in next door bathroom or air con was on all night and could be heard. Also no door on wardrobe and electrical fuse box buzzed. Poor score and value for money if you want a good nights sleep.
