I am traveling since many years to Amsterdam and stayed in many hotels. Hotel V Nesplein is the one I can highly recommend. Its rooms are very comfortable, big, very quiet (if to the back) and exceptionally well equipped. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Its location is super central, easy to access and, although close to the Main Street, very quiet location. Great Restaurant for breakfast but also for dinner. A great hotel to stay in if you like the smaller, boutique ones. For me this is the one I will always book again if ever in Amsterdam. Will definitely come back soon !

Great location and loved the quirky decor
Our room was freezing. Weather had turned colder and radiators in room were cold. I asked at reception how to turn them on and was told it was the ambiance of hotel and that was it! They said there were heaters but they were all being used. We paid a lot of money to stay for 4 nights so very disappointed. Eventually on last night we did get a fan heater. We found the seating areas cold too in reception and bar.

Location was central.
Breakfast being a la carte table service was slow and frustrating. There was not enough staff to quickly attend to breakfast orders. I would rather a buffet self service style to quickly grab food as I come to Amsterdam for work and I tend to be on a tight timeline so waiting arounf to have my order taken and wait for food and coffee to be made and served is not ideal/
