The location is right in the heart of Itchan Kala but it's still very quiet at night. Abdullah and the family are extremely kind. Abdullah even offered to take us to the train station at 7am. The balcony is a lovely space that is shared between all of the upper rooms. The room was basic but spacious & clean. Did I say the location is amazing. You get the citadel to yourself early in the morning & late at night.
A kettle in the room would have been an added bonus. There is, however, a communal kettle on the balcony.
Some of the details relating to the rooms on the booking sites are a little confusing.

Rien .

Convenient location inside the walled old town
The cash deposit was very inconvenient and when checking out after 2 nights we had to wake the owner to ask for the deposit to be returned- I suspect others may just leave it behind.
