Beautiful pub and room. Very clean and comfortable bed. Good selection for breakfast.
Some very minor additions would make the stay better. There is nowhere in the room to put clothes, it needs a small wardrobe or chest of drawers. It was also difficult to do hair as there is only the fireplace ledge to set hair straighteners etc on near a plugand mirror.
There are no shelves in the bathroom to set a wash bag and toiletries. Bathroom is lovely but it is also difficult to have a shower, a hook on the wall for the shower head over the roll top bath would be helpful.
Breakfast was nice but all of the surfaces with the food are full so it was a bit of a juggling act to fill a bowl and add milk or make a cup of tea. There was no bin to put any of the rubbish in.
We honestly loved our stay and it is a beautiful place and room, we are mentioning these small things as they would make a stay easier but we would happily stay here again

Beautiful place. Appeared to be recently upgraded or still in the process of being upgraded. Some finishing touches still required but didnt spoil the stay.
Continental breakfast had everything you could possibly ask for, all help yourself but all set out & ready for us

Clean. Modern. Comfortable. Easy access.
The halls smelt a little damp.

The room was clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable.
Booked it because there was a pub underneath.
But got there and it was all closed up.
Didn’t say anything about not serving food when I booked it.
Also couldn’t get in the outer door at first, lock didn’t work well.
