The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel very clean and comfortable. The location is great for a walk into Shaftsbury. The swimming pool looked great but we didn’t use it

The rooms are a little tired but very clean .

Breakfast was great and staff in breakfast room warm and friendly

The decor was cheap looking old fashioned, and didnt reflect the lovely local heritage or area, No local art it could hav been on the outskirts of any town and city in the country, I think they are missing a trick !! what a shame !
