Good location with parking at the back (can get busy)
Staff were excellent. Bedroom nicely furnished.
Both food and service were good. Lovely breakfast.
For the price I paid (over £500 for two nights, the room was very small.
Although the heating was on full (radiator) it did not give out much heat and I was a little chilli.

We stayed in the Signature Room and were very impressed. The room was spacious, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the quality toiletries were a nice touch. The coffee pods and tea selection were also much better than average. Despite being on the first floor, the room was wonderfully quiet, ensuring a great night's sleep.
Parking was easier than expected, with a larger car park than anticipated and we had no trouble securing a space. There is also an additional village car park behind the property which appeared perfectly safe, reflecting the peaceful nature of the village.
Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality options. Choices included fresh juices, gut health drinks, gluten-free muesli, and a range of cooked items. We particularly enjoyed the scrambled eggs and the full English breakfast, both of which were very well prepared.
Overall, a fantastic stay with great facilities, a peaceful atmosphere, and an excellent breakfast. We would happily return.

The location. The bathroom
The bedroom had far too little light. I couldn’t read in the seating area even with the lamp on. The breakfast was nice but the staff were poor. On both mornings we had to ask for items to be replenished- bowls spoons milk. Really basic stuff
