The Fountain Inn was very busy with people eating Sunday lunch. Staff were busy clearing tables for the next guests. It was very cold outside and there was a fire to warm us. Staff were very helpful and friendly and made a fuss of our dog. We took our belongings into our room in a 10 room, one storey annexe near our car. There was an enormous sleigh bed which was very comfortable and a lovely shower room. There was a kettle and stuff to make a drink near a 2 seater leather sofa. There was a tv but reception was affected by the storm. We returned to the bar for an evening meal and chose from a varied menu and again the bar was full and welcoming. An excellent place to stay!
The weather!!! The village was spotless and the area good for short walks.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
The breakfast (vege) was outstanding, by far the best I've ever had. Cooked to perfection, hot and delicious.
I stayed in the deluxe room which was spacious, clean, comfortable with a lovely modern bathroom.
N/A. Everything was perfect for my needs.

The bar and restaurant were on site
Rooms were tired, restaurant times for breakfast was a small window of time and on a weekend they said they run on skeleton staff
