Excellent breakfast freshly cooked each day
Location was ideal for us and only a short walk fron]m the castle and town centre
It’s a really old building full of character and the rooms are well furnished.
The only thing I would add is that perhaps some fresh fruit at breakfast and the ability to buy a drink later in the evening without having to go out to the local pub. Or perhaps a couple of bottles of water in the room would have worked. But overall there is nothing bad to say about it.

Great location by the Castle and near venue.
Good quality breakfast.
Good value.
TV was virtually impossible to operate!
One bedside lamp would not turn on.

Comfortable room in an old historic building. Great view of the castle. The bar restaurant wasn’t open so its a self checkin which worked fine. Breakfast was provided and was ok. It’s a good value one night stay but a bit odd with the hotel facilities not actually open.

Breakfast was excellent. Good choice, nice staff, and very relaxed atmosphere
The room (room 10) was disappointing, I thought some renovation work had been done at the hotel recently but room 10 looks no different to the last time I stayed there. A bit dilapidated and in need of a lot of freshening up. In particular, the bathroom.
