The pub was old with lots of character, the room was large and felt welcoming straight away. We made a good cup of coffee straight away from the assortment of sachets, and that is rare. The tv was large and in a good place, also rare.
We booked a twin room and it had one single and one double. I was lucky to get the double and it was so comfy I wish I could have taken it home. The room was warm but not too hot, again perfect for us. The en-suite was ok, we didn't use the shower but it looked fine with a good assortment of soaps, gels, shampoo etc.
The breakfast was fantastic too. Best night away for years. Shame we were only there one night. Fully recommended.
Nothing really. We parked on the main road with no problems but this was late October. Didn't see any car parkng so maybe check this out. Not going to nitpick over small stuff, we enjoyed our stay very much. The property is old though and could probably do with a re-furb and re-wire at some point but we don't mind this, we are used to old properties. If this sort of thing bothers you then there maybe be better options.

Nothing was to much trouble for the staff and manager , lovely old world building & pub, service was great, it’s not a modern & new set up , so don’t expect that, but was comfortable / clean and we had a great stay👍
