Great place to stay in the historic town of Monmouth. Welcoming staff. I was leaving early next day walking the Offas Dyke Path and the owner recommended a place for breakfast opposite as the breakfast at Punch House was a bit late for me. So I thought that was really nice of them to tell me what other options there were.

The staff were very friendly, the food was lovely and there was a great atmosphere. Centrally located in Monmouth. Breakfast wasn't served until 8.00 so we had to leave before it as we had to move our car.
There was no parking. The bar was lovely but the halls etc were very grubby. Perhaps more attention to detail e.g. there was no shampoo in the shampoo dispenser in the shower. There was tea in the room but no coffee.
