The beautiful sandy beach is just a few minutes’ walk away. A short walk further will take you to a local bakery and the center of Timmendorfer Strand, which invites you to stroll and linger. In addition to boat tours departing from Niendorf Harbor, there are plenty of attractions to explore in the neighboring towns. Sierksdorf is home to Hansa-Park, the only amusement park located directly on the sea. In Timmendorfer Strand, the Sea-Life Center invites you to explore its underwater world—even when the weather is bad—and to round out a relaxing vacation, the Ostsee-Therme in Scharbeutz offers several indoor and outdoor pools, saltwater pools, a sauna area, and a direct view of the Baltic Sea beach.
