Quirky hotel, cosy and homely feel. This was our second visit, can see that improvements are being made it’s a lovely building too.

The hotel’s 350 years of history gave it real character and charm. Every floor was on a different level, which added to its unique, quirky nature. It was full of personality and far more interesting than a modern, ordinary hotel. We absolutely loved it — a brilliant place to stay!

Great location. Curry meal was good.
Cooked breakfast was mediocre. Coffee was dreadful. Noisy people in room above and next door. Wi-Fi in room never worked. The hotel looked like it had been taken over to be run as an Indian restaurant more than a hotel.
