Welcome and information on arrival was excellent. Room was very spacious and perfect for a family of 4. Really clean and comfortable beds with good linen. Breakfast in the morning was excellent with a good range of choice both hot and cold. perhaps would have been nice to have been offered specialty coffee but the filter coffee was good. My family loved the cats that were roaming the hotel but if your not a cat person or have allergies you might want to make sure you have some meds to prevent symptoms.

We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of sitting on the terrace with a drink and chatting with fellow guests in the late afternoon sunshine and the proximity of good walks onto the Downs
We were given a room on the second floor after requesting a first floor room. It had a view of the garden but it was hard to see through either low windows or velux windows. The staff were disinterested and no one offered to help with the bags even though we are elderly.
