Very helpful staff who went out of their way to meet needs. Excellent food (carvery).
Room would have been greatly improved with a few fixes and minor improvements eg nowhere to hang a wet towel next to the wash basin, hot & cold feeds connected back to front on the basin, table light too dim. This was also reflected elsewhere in the hotel eg cups did not quite fit the saucers.

Lovely location, very quiet, great staff, delicious food. Very comfortable and welcoming.
Some parts were a little tired, but it is an old building full of character.

What a location! Such a lovely area.
The hotel was pleasant, the room comfortable and clean and the staff helpful and pleasant. The food in the restaurant was good too. .
The only issue was breakfast where it took way too long to get our cooked breakfasts (just short of 40min). Having said that, once it arrived, it was excellent.

Good location
The rooms where dirty and the DIY is shocking. There is mold in the bathrooms.
