Lovely location , staff friendly and helpful
Italian food and service was poor , very noisy hotel , lots of creaking / walking sounds / doors opening and closing
Lots of kids , felt more like you had gone to a centre parcs than a 5 star hotel .. health club pool tired , facilities there are poor , weird having a proper spa off site , couldn’t be bothered to book to visit that
Very pricey for what it is .. last time we stayed was 12 years ago and then it very much felt like a 5 star hotel, now feels a bit tired and noisy , more 3 star

Good comfortable room, with balcony views and a decent location to explore Loch Lomond and the West Coast
I stayed here a few year’s ago and had a much better experience. I felt that it had outgrown its luxurious status, and the service that I would expect from a hotel of this type was lacking, both at breakfast and dinner. Breakfast, in particular, was so busy that it seemed that the system had failed. Unfortunately it is this sort of detail that marks out the difference in high-end hotels and I thought that the price did not meet the expectations, or match the service in other similar hotels.

Great views and amenities. Very interesting place. It is its own destination. Felt like a Disney hotel actually
