Lovely historic building, very centrally located for galleries and metro. Our room, curved with windows facing the train station was beautiful. The mattress was excellent. the bed was only a standard double but there was plenty of space, comfortable seating, great bathroom. Excellent staff, parking was easy and access by car quite straightforward. Breakfast was a standard buffet, fair quality, decent value. Nice service and food at the restaurant also.

Fantastic location- A really short walk to the Prado and Reina Sofia, as well as Atocha Station. Bathroom was clean and modern and bed very comfortable- also loved the cute balcony. Friendly and helpful staff- thankyou for a great stay :)

We were able to check in early and the wifi was good. The view from the terrace was nice.
Recently having stayed in a number of other Madrid hotels, including a different NH Hotel that was superb, we were very disappointed. The price for two nights was outrageous considering the lack of amenities and size of the room. I would not consider this hotel a 4-star. There wasn’t enough room to fully open our luggage, the desk was so close to the bed it blocked access to the terrace (we had to climb over the bed), and using the main shower-head nearly flooded the bathroom because the drain was slow. There was no coffee maker in the room and when I asked if there was somewhere in the hotel I could get a cup I was told I would have to pay for a full breakfast.
