All the staff were fantastic from beginning to end. Couldn't have been more helpful, friendly or cool! Great location, excellent hotel. It's been a long time since I've felt so genuinely happy with a hotel & the overall experience.

Excellent location convenient for our mode of transport (train).
Prices seem to have gone up since Ruby Lucy was taken over by IHG. We have stayed there before, several times.

The staff in general were good. They just seamed to be hampered by management not being there. I liked the free access teas and coffees on the landing.
To say that there is a restaurant on site is pushing the reality a bit. They have a very small fixed menu, which I suspect was based on frozen ready meals. They were missing ingredients for various cocktails, basic stuff. The breakfast was really not to my liking, if you like a small selection alternative types of breakfast, this is for you, wasn't for me. Not being able to get an invoice printed on site, even after I paid, was a stress. All business trips and expenses in my company have to be supported by correct invoicing, but being emailed one at 12 o'clock the following day after check-out was not appreciated, as at that time I was already in a different country. In my opinion, this isn't a 4 star property, but a very good 3 star. Feels like it's trying to be a Citizen M, but noth really there.
