Great view of the harbour and hillside from the little balcony. Excellent selection at breakfast. Staff at breakfast were really helpful and efficient.
The bar and restaurant were closed on Sunday. We noticed this wasn’t the same in other nearby hotels and we were disappointed we had to go out again after a long day walking round.

Great location, Bryggen harbour view right outside the window. Close to shops and sights. Friendly staff, nice breakfast.
The building is old, and we didn't find heating in the bathroom. It’s a bit cold while taking a shower.

Hotel was perfectly located near all the major attractions which made it easy to walk to the fish market, over to bryggen and to the Galleriet. The room was comfortable and clean and staff were helpful and available. The breakfast was amazing. We stayed at Clarion in Oslo and Bergen, both different vibes as Oslo had a spa but will highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit.
We asked the staff to tidy the rooms when we left 1 day but it wasn't done. Very minor inconvenience, as we requested towels at the front desk later when we realised it wasn't turned over. Otherwise, rooms were clean and comfortable and staff always helped.

The location is great. Also, the breakfast was very good, and the breakfast staff were friendly and helpful.
The rooms are old, the shower was not working properly, and the cleaning was not done properly. We always had to ask for extra towels, and the reception staff were not smiling at all and felt like they were working under duress. Service could be much better.
