We enjoyed the location and the building’s history. The amazing frescoes and delicious breakfast were a highlight.
Our kettle, telephone and bathroom bin were broken when we checked in. The mattress was also too soft.

Great location.
Property is apparently used by cruise lines so facilities can be overwhelmed when large groups of cruise passengers are at the hotel. I had a premium suite and had to unload my luggage and park my own car at a garage that was a 10 minute walk from the hotel. No valet parking and no onsite parking. Breakfast is also crowded with cruise passengers.
Lighting in suite is poor.

"Room 322 was the main office in the old Bergen stock exchange. Great size, characterful and very comfortable. The dining area is very beautiful, arched pillars and art deco murals on the wall."
