Well what a surprise this place was. We thought on our tour of Scotland, this would just be a place to rest our heads, how wrong were we!!! The bar was good but the food, wow, delicious! The room was nice, it was comfortable and we felt well looked after.
It wasn’t really a complaint but, we arrived at 3, yes check in wasn’t until 4 but with it being a bar we thought it might have been open for a drink before check in.

They were shutting the place down for winter. I paid 110, the week before it was 200. I would have been pretty unhappy to pay that. It’s fine but not much better than a travellodge. Slept well. I’m currently in a youth hostel which is out of this world and Ive paid 80 for the night. That’s for my own room. It’s far superior in my opinion
Just dull and not cared for, very basic
