Hotel is in a great location. Short walk for everything from The London Eye to Theatre land, Houses of Parliament to Soho and literaly 50m from Trafalger Square. Nearby Westminster Pier gives numerous options for travelling on the river. My experience showed this to be cheaper , more convenenient and pleasurable than the alternatives.
The high ceilings and marble covered walls provide a very impressive entrance and bar/dining area giving the impression of a high end hotel.
My room was quite large but decor was underwhelming. However, the bed and especially the pillows were amongst the best.
The bathroom was dissapointing and use of a shower curtain in place of a sliding screen was a definate negative.
Staff were, mostly, polite and efficient. However, I had the impression that the focus was on corporate clients.
£2000 for a 5 night stay is certainly in keeping with similiar hotels in the area. In fact lower than many.
Hard to define how great hospitality lifts your stay to something special.
Sadly in this case it wasn't provided

Very central location
Small room, slightly tired and grubby.

The bed was comfortable and good TV service with streaming available.
It felt detached. More like a building with rooms but not connected. Having to pay a holding charge when it’s not advertised before booking.
