The location is absolutely fantastic, the reception staff are incredibly kind, and I truly appreciated the wonderful birthday surprise they arranged for me
There were no slippers in the room, and the curtains were dirty. The room was rather dark and very very cold. I would also have appreciated an evening turndown service, with the room tidied up and fresh towels provided before bedtime

large room with large comfortable bed. shower was good pressure. room had been decorated wth folded twels and petals when we arrived. beyond our expectation. lovely touch
breakfast was a noisy affair. beverage machines were limited. No decaff tea or cold milk for tea. staff couldn't help but were polite

Excellent location and rooms were a good size. Staff went an extra mile to decorate my son’s room as we were celebrating his 18th birthday and that was a lovely touch.
We were charged an additional £33 for one person for breakfast even though we booked 2 rooms for 4 people and when we checked in staff could see that there were 4 of us. We should have been told at check in that they could only see 3 people in the booking. The room rates were very expensive ( over £300 per night) but because breakfast was included we chose this hotel. To be charged extra for the one breakfast was in my opinion unnecessary.
