The room was lovely, spotlessly clean, tidy and very comfortable. It was a nice touch having a hairdryer, straighteners and curling tongs available in the room along with both still and sparkling water.
The bed was super comfortable, and the pillows were absolutely amazing – I only wish I'd asked where they were from!
Breakfast arrived on time, and both the food and drinks were lovely and warm.
The Prosecco and little tray of nibbles on arrival were such a thoughtful touch, especially as we hadn't eaten. They kept us going nicely until we headed out for the evening.
I especially liked the checkout time - 11ish!
Overall, a really lovely stay with lots of thoughtful little extras that made it feel special. We'd definitely recommend it!
The only small downsides were the lack of somewhere to hang clothes, as there was just a small hook on the back of the door, which wasn't really sufficient.
The shower was a little on the cold side, and there was a loose floor tile near the bed, which I noticed when getting out of bed.
There was also a slight damp smell in the room, which was noticeable at times.
These things didn't spoil our stay, but they are a few areas that could do with some attention to make an otherwise lovely experience even better.

The Cow Hollow Hotel is a stylish, intimate, boutique hotel with outstanding service. We were welcomed with a personal note in our room recognising the reason for our stay (10th wedding anniversary) and treated to a complimentary glass of Prosecco (standard for all guests- as is the milk and cookies delivered to your room before bedtime each night!). Breakfast is delivered to your room each morning at a time of your choosing, which suited us perfectly- so nice to have breakfast in bed rather than rushing to get up and dressed to make it down for breakfast as in many hotels (the yoghurt and granola is delicious and definitely set us up for the day). The room was clean with excellent amenities, and the location is perfect for getting to local attractions, shopping, bars & restaurants. The staff are really friendly with excellent recommendations for places to eat and drink. It’s very reasonably priced for everything you get. Thank you for a wonderful stay- we will definitely return
