Very basic but half the price of other city centre hotels, and slap bang in the heart of the northern quarter. Good atmosphere in the pub downstairs.
Couldn't get the telly to work.

First of all, everything was much better than I expected! This was my first trip to Manchester, and I was travelling alone. Everyone was so helpful, and I honestly didn’t expect everything to go so smoothly and comfortably.
Even though I checked in quite late, they waited for me and helped me with everything. The entrance was through the bar downstairs, which I didn’t know beforehand, but I had no trouble finding it.
The beds were incredibly comfortable, all the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and everyone was happy to help with anything I needed. I had a lovely stay, and everything was extremely clean.
Overall, everything was wonderful, and I really appreciate all the help and hospitality. Thank you so much!
The only negatif thing was that the floor seemed a little old and creaked quite a lot when walking. This may not be something the host can control. However, as the bathroom and toilet were shared, some of the other guests were quite noisy late at night, and I woke up several times. I think this was more down to the other guests than the accommodation itself.

Can't fault it for a budget stay. Clean, comfortable and great location. Would definitely stay again

comfy clean beds, triple rooms available
when we got there, they gave us the wrong room key and i ended up walking in on people and that made us anxious about our stay just incase someone could get in our room. didnt expect communal toilets which normally isn’t an issue until it’s very unhygienic and dirty.
