A great location. Easy walking distance to the village for restaurants and cafes. We had the most wonderful view of the lake from our room (228). The room was very big with a comfortable bed. We had a table and chairs overlooking the lake too.
Breakfast was very good with quality ingredients for the hot buffet. Could also order from the menu for other items too.
The carpets were very worn and stained (particularly at the top of the main staircase on floor 2).
It was a shame the pool was out of action. The pool was one of the reasons we booked this hotel. We had checked the dates of maintenance before we booked but it was extended. We were offered £20 per night discount off anything we spent at the hotel but would have rather had the option to cancel our booking and book elsewhere. We decided to eat in the restaurant at the hotel to take advantage of the discount. The food was ok, but not up to the standard of the breakfast. The restaurant was quite functional and not somewhere I would recommend for an evening meal.

Lovely staff, amazing food and beautiful surroundings! Mohit the reception worker was brilliant, upgraded our room to a deluxe suite too as it was our honeymoon! Such an amazing place to stay. Thanks again!
