Fantastic little place, staff were lovely and it was so close to grasmere
Our room and shower did feel like it could be cleaner, few marks on the walls and unclean walls in the shower

Comfortable bed, lovely spacious bath tub, heated floor was a plus! Staff were so friendly and accommodating, also appreciated the free G&T upon arrival. Spa was lovely, much needed after a weekend of camping and walking :)
breakfast was a tad on the cold side, but appreciated the buffet bits none the less !
Also maybe we’re sauna snobs but it only hit 65deg with a gap under the door so didn’t feel proper hot hot hot! Steam was lovely however !

Great location and a good breakfast.
Noisy bedrooms, dated bathrooms, small spa.
