The room was great and very spacious! I was able to check in early also. The day I checked in there was a very loud concert at the concert that evening. I was on the first floor and left the hotel until the concert was over because it was so loud. I asked for a room on a higher floor, but none available. The breakfast was fantastic! And I had probably one of the best burgers I have ever had at the downstairs bar! The location was okay, but if I ever return to Warsaw, I'll stay closer to the Old Town. The car service from the airport to the hotel was fantastic! The driver was very nice and pointed out various sights along the way. Had a couple of good tours in Warsaw, but the general population didn't seem happy...almost like they were still in a communist country. Krakow was much better!
Most of the front desk staff didn't appear that they wanted to be there. Some of the questions I asked seemed like I was wasting their time. There were two that were very friendly, and the driver that picked me up from the airport was great!

This was my favorite hotel on our trip. As an architect, I thought the execution of the design (historic building + renovation) and all the detailing (book matched stone work, copper accents, etc) was all great. Pool level was also beautifully done. Good location with a 5 min walk to the nearest metro. Walkable to many other sights and areas to have dinner or meals nearby. I would stay there again.
Some of the room controls were counter intuitive and there were oddly not plugs near the desk or on one side of the bed for easy access.

The design is indeed very cool, liked the location, the breakfast and the spa
While the room design is cool, i feel like thee are some clear design flaws: the lighting in the room is horrible- almost like in some interrogation room. Room feels very stark. The pillows are very uncomfortable and flat. The shower, while looking beautiful makes the whole floor of the bathroom wet.
