The room was gorgeous and the location of the hotel was absolutely optimum. We particularly liked the history and style of the hotel.
the hotel lacks a "core" that a bar or proper reception would have provided. A bar/central area forms the "beating heart" of any establishment.

Fantastic breakfast in the cafe attached to the building and a really nice room. A great value hotel in a lovely part of Warsaw

The lake of lift, it was hard to stay in the second floor

The hotel was nice and comfortable, and the location was absolutely perfect.
Overall, the room was clean and comfortable, and the stay itself was pleasant — but the check-in experience could definitely be smoother and more welcoming.
However, the staff could be a bit more polite and flexible. According to the information on Booking, payments could be made in either euros or PLN, but the hotel only accepted PLN. This made our late-night arrival a bit stressful since all exchange offices were already closed.
I left my passport at the reception as a temporary security measure until the next morning, but was later given a “lecture” about it, which felt unnecessary and slightly rude. The following day, we also had to wait around 15–20 minutes at the reception to complete the payment and hear another explanation about the passport, which was rather frustrating.

"Excellent hotel, and we ha a very nice room with a view too and the receptionist was great too. Bestest location on the main oldtown road, which has no cars running just walking."
