I really enjoyed staying in FiDi. The corner view towards the One World Trade Center was amazing. The room was spacious for a couple with several bags (two large and two carry-ons). There was a work desk, a mini fridge, a spacious bathroom, and daily cleaning. The staff was friendly.
I wouldn't mind staying there again but a refurbishment would make it a fantastic place, as currently there are usage signs. The climate seemed a bit damp but perhaps I should have played around more with the AC unit. Also the lack of a hotel store, cafe, or restaurant is something to account for but there are options just around the corner and inside the hotel there is a small vending machine with some items. I was happy to have a gym and I went there several times but it was not as advertised, no towels, no water, even after asking, I used the cooler in the lobby and I could take a towel from the room.

Staff was friendly and they accommodated an early check in. Great communication. Room was spacious and pretty clean. Great view.
Some of the lights in the room didn’t work but luckily they weren’t the main lights.

Great location and the room was spacious with a nice view.
Missing a few basic amenities like a way to make coffee/tea in the room, water on the floor, etc. if that matters to you.

I booked because the first time (in 2023) everything was amazing here.
- Good value at a good location and a nice view (for now, WTC 5 could come in front in the future).
Sadly the quality has gone way down since 2023.
Staff is clearly there without wanting to be there. Also don't try to call the place... I tried 20x and only got someone on the phone once. Answering in chat also seems hard for them, guess they have to much to chat about with each other instead.
Also very clear the owners are not intent on keeping this place in order as there are 1.001 visible issues from the lobby all the way to the room. They are no longer investing in keeping the propery (also, maybe because WTC 5 will at some point be built in front?). Some examples: toilet keeps running (turned off the faucet behind), bedboard has screw sticking out, lighting in the lobby coming loose, general scuffyness of everything, only 1 elevator working to the lobby, only 1 (sometimes 2) from the lobby to the rooms.
MJ smell in the hallway of our room on the day of arrival was peculiar to say the least. I don't mind, but others might. Only thing I was worried about was potential fire hazard that comes with it.
