About this house rental
Immergut is our third beach house—and perhaps the most personal one. A home for anyone who appreciates architecture, materials, and tranquility. The centerpiece is the spacious living, dining, and kitchen area, arranged in an L-shape and connected by the freestanding Focus fireplace, which hangs from the ceiling and defines the space.
Cool concrete meets weathered reclaimed wood—inspired by the charm of Alpine ski huts, reinterpreted for the coast. This deliberate combination of materials gives the house a distinctive, understatedly elegant character. The kitchen features an open layout and invites you to cook, chop, and spend time together—even the sous chef has a place here.
Thanks to the floor-to-ceiling lift-and-slide doors, the house opens up in multiple directions, creating both a high degree of privacy and an abundance of light. Depending on the time of day, you can choose your favorite spot: the concrete table on the east-facing terrace for a sunny breakfast, or the second dining area for dinner in the warm light of the sunset.
Relaxation continues outdoors: an outdoor sauna, an open-air shower, and wooden decks facing in different directions make outdoor living a natural part of daily life. The large garden, the detached house, and a designer grill underscore the exclusive, tranquil character.
A parking space with an electric charging station is available, as is a modern layout featuring a bathroom and a separate restroom. A private path approximately 200 meters long leads directly to the beach—quiet, direct, and free of through traffic.
Dogs are also welcome at Immergut. The property is bordered by hedges, fences, and sheep fences, providing a sheltered setting.
Immergut is not a traditional vacation home. It is a thoughtfully designed retreat—for people who don’t need to explain design, but simply feel it.
